My review.
Good start of season 4! Funny, although at times trying a little too hard.
The whole kidnapping the guitar was just plain silly (as was the eyes/breast quote), but at least we heard him play it !
House definitely needs a team. He's struggling to get a correct diagnosis, and he's even written the patient's name on top of the whiteboard! He's suddenly caring now?!
So he recruited the janitor, who ever so helpfully suggests "It could be lupus."
(Which would have been funnier if he didn't add he knew someone who had it.) And House recruiting him would have been plausible if he wouldn't have given him a lab coat and send him to get a consent form signed.
But of course he's really still the manipulative ass he's always been; pretending he couldn't reach under the sink in the patient's house, and thus forcing Wilson to do all the work.
Great and very sad twist with Megan - the patient – actually being Liz!
And Cuddy's outsmarting House – excellent! Sending out a memo, telling him to leave her alone. And she pointed out near the end that every member of his former team would have helped him jump to the right diagnosis days earlier.
And I have to admit, I'm missing the team, I'm missing the whole fun process of getting to the right diagnosis. So I'm glad he's got 40 possible candidates that he's going to interview. Although knowing House and seeing him in that classroom, it very likely won't be regular interviews.
Will it be survival of the fittest, survival of the prettiest, or survival of "who resembles my old team members most"? That one girl sure looked and acted like Cameron!
